    Accessories Releate

Loaded has discontinued the much loved Ceviche to make room for the newLoaded Poke , a board that is sure to live up to the high standards of the Fish / Ceviche legacy.

The Loaded Poke continues with performance driven kicktails and a comfortable platform with concave, rocker, and wheel well flares. We were especially stoked on rocker on a board like this. It should allow for some awesome comfort when doing stand up slides, even on a board in this size range and flex. Speaking of sizing, check out the specs of the Loaded Poke:

    Length: 34” / 86 cm
    Width: 9.125” / 23.18 cm
    Wheelbase: 20.75” / 52.71 cm
    Tail: 7.625” / 19.37 cm (tip to inner bolt) @ 18°
    Nose: 5.625” / 14.29 cm (tip to inner bolt) @ 13°
    Concave: 0.5” / 1.3 cm (radial)
    Rocker: 0.1” / 0.3 cm (centered)

    Shredding PokeBowl

The Loaded Poke proves incredibly versatile, allowing it to fall into all kinds of skating disciplines. It’s limitations begin solely with the rider.

The rocker on the Poke could come as a bit of a shock as the Fish and Ceviche opted for cambered profiles. However, Loaded Boards decided to go with rocker as they felt it promoted a more locked in feel and matched a greater variety of riding styles.

The slight concave flares along side the effective foot platform act as references for your feet, holding you in place and promoting awareness of what’s going on below you. The concave also enhances torsional stiffness for better control and stability.

When we first heard about the Poke’s wheel flares, we worried they would be in the way of foot movement on such a small deck. However, they are much more subtle than those on the Loaded Kanthaka, allowing for more comfort and an equal mix of shredding and commuting.

Loaded has opted to make the kicktail more stiff on this little Poke, offering easier ollies and flip tricks. This is something we’ve really appreciated as the Loaded Ceviche was pretty hard to snap.

Perhaps the most beautiful things about the Poke is it’s sheer versatility. This is truly a deck you could use every day and not get board of, ahh we mean bored of.

    Long live the Loaded Poke.
