Meet Stair-Rover
Stair-Rover is a longboard unlike any other. It's designed from the ground up to surf the entire city. The unique eight-wheeled mechanism makes the board equally at home cruising smooth pavements or gliding down stairs. From the curb outside your house to a double flight of stairs, the Stair-Rover scuttles over obstacles with ease. Every city is a playground. And Stair-Rover is designed to help you discover the full potential of yours. On flat ground, Stair-Rover is the equal of any traditional longboard. But when the surface gets rough - cobblestones or uneven paving, for example - the chassis goes to work. It reduces impact and keeps you moving. It's that same mechanism that gives the Stair-Rover its name. Reach the top of a flight of stairs and simply keep going - let gravity and the patent-pending V-frame design do the rest. The wheels bounce up and down independently and conform to the shape of each step. It's a balancing act that gives the board its crab-like scuttle and gives you a butter-smooth ride to the bottom.

The new design makes the board lighter, stronger, and more agile. We have worked hard for last 24 months to improve the performance of the Stair-Rover in all kinds of conditions. We selected a better material for the chassis to increase maneuverability and durability of the Stair-Rover. The angle of pivot axle has been changed to 50 degree for better turnability. The deck height and other component details have also been redesigned to simplify the product and improve performance when surfing over various urban terrain.
Yes, it acts just like a traditional longboard on flat surfaces and slopes. You will also discover that the Stair-Rover performs much better than traditional longboards on rougher surfaces.
Yes. Our test riders have tried many existing skateboard / longboard tricks using the Stair-Rover. But all skateboards / longboards are designed for different interests and circumstances. You may find Stair-Rover unable to perform some tricks as good as other longboards. You also may find Stair-Rover capable to do some actions no others can do. We can’t wait to see you invent new tricks using the Stair-Rover, and name it with your own style.
Anyone can ride Stair-Rover. But we do think you need basic skateboard/longboard experience and skills to ride down stairs. While riding the Stair-Rover, we advise riders to:
‧ Wear fully protected safety gear (helmets and pads)
‧ Take particular care to avoid pedestrians and other vehicles
‧ Trial the Stair-Rover on shorter, gentler stairs before trying a longer stairs
You can replace: bearings, wheels, bushings, grip tape, and even the deck. However, changing components may affect the quality of performance of the Stair-Rover.
All Stair-Rovers are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. This means that we will repair or replace, at our discretion, any Stair-Rover product that is defective. This is the only condition covered by Stair-Rover’s warranty. No other warranty is expresses or implied. The warranty does not cover breakage due to wear and tear, improper installation of components, wrong foot positioning while landing tricks or intentional breakage. The warranty does not cover normal wear and abuse. This includes nose/tail wear caused by riding the board, edge chipping from impact or dropping of board and warping due to exposure to heat, sun or cold. Neither the seller nor the manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, death, loss or damage, direct or consequential arising out of the use or inability to use this product. Before use, the user must determine the relevant product for their needs before use and assume all risk and liability whatsoever in connection therewith.
